Famatech Radmin Server 3 Single User license [STD]  Ref: 2635

Highest Speed of Work

Radmin is the fastest remote control software available anywhere. Its new DirectScreenTransfer™ technology uses a video hook kernel mode driver to boost the capture rate to hundreds of screen updates per second. Its special low-bandwidth optimizations lets you work comfortably even on dial-up modem and GPRS connections.

Full compatibility with Windows Vista

Radmin 3.2 fully supports Windows Vista 32-bit and 64-bit, including User Account Control and Fast User Switching. Radmin Server 3.2 supports Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000 (32-bit) and Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003 (64-bit) operating systems. Radmin Viewer 3.2 supports Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003/2000/ME/98/95/NT4.0 (32-bit) and Windows Vista/XP/2008/2003 (64-bit) operating systems.

Highest Security Level

Radmin works in encrypted mode where all data, screen images, mouse movements and keyboard signals are encrypted using 256-Bit AES strong encryption with randomly generated keys for each connection. For user authentication Radmin can use either Windows security with Active Directory and Kerberos support, or its own security with individual user permissions and secure login/password authentications. Radmin security uses Diffie-Hellman based key exchange with 2048-bit key size. Additional IP filters restrict access to specific hosts and networks.

Security Highlights

  • Advanced 256-Bit AES strong encryption of all data streams.
  • Ability to use either Windows Security or Radmin Security.
  • Windows security supports different permissions for specific users or user groups from a Primary Domain, Trusted Domains and the Active Directory. Supports automatic use of logged-in user credentials and Kerberos authentication.
  • Radmin security supports different permissions for the users added to the Radmin Server access list. Radmin uses a new Diffie-Hellman based key exchange with 2048-bit key size for secure user authentication.
  • IP Filter permits access to Radmin Server only from specified IP addresses and networks.
  • DNS name and user name info added to the logfile.
  • Smart protection from password guessing.

Security is built into the core of Radmin

  • Radmin server has two security subsystems. So you can set up Radmin either to use embedded Windows security or Radmin security. Radmin supports Windows Vista/XP/2003/2000 (32-bit and 64-bit) user level security with NTLMv2 and Kerberos support so you can limit remote access to specific users or user groups including users from local computer, primary domains, trusted domains or Active Directory. Security settings interface is unified with Windows standard.
  • When using Radmin security you can set up different permissions for Radmin users. For the user authentication and session key setup modified Diffie-Hellman exchange with 2048 bit key size is used.
  • For data stream encryption Radmin uses AES with 256 bit key size. Radmin generates unique 256 bit keys for each connection that achieves unsurpassed protection.
  • The algorithms used are the most modern encryption methods and the key sizes are well above industry standards.
  • All data, including screen images, cursor movements, and keyboard signals are always encrypted. The encryption is impossible to turn off for Radmin 2.x and 3.x.
  • Radmin records all its actions and events to a log file.
  • Radmin has an IP filter table that lets you restrict remote access to specific IP addresses and networks.
  • Radmin has a built-in code-testing defense mechanism that prevents a program's code from being altered.
  • Radmin generates unique private keys for each connection using a large random bit sequence that achieves unsurpassed protection. The access password resides in the encrypted form and is never transmitted between computers in any form, preventing third persons from intercepting or generating the keys.
  • Radmin prevents incorrect Server configurations. Radmin Server does not allow empty passwords.
  • Radmin Server actively protects its settings, which are stored in the system registry. Only a user with administrator rights can access this registry branch.
  • Smart protection from password guessing. This protection includes such features as password anti-guessing security delays, banning IP addresses with excessive number of password guess attempts, etc.
  • Radmin Server starts as a service and doesn't start as an application on Windows Vista/XP/2003/2000 (32-bit and 64-bit), which improves security.

Text and Voice Chat

Text Chat, Voice Chat and Send Message modes, which are new for Radmin version 3, all were developed to help you communicate with a person who operates a remote computer that you are connecting to. Text Chat Mode Text Chat enables users to exchange text messages in real time. You can initiate enterprise-wide meetings, conferences and debates. In Text Chat mode you can hold private discussions as well as multi-user discussions. Channels may be freely entered or protected with a password. Secure private chat between two users is also possible. Voice Chat Mode As long as you have a microphone and speakers or a headset, you can use your computer for personal and conference calls via Voice Chat. Just like Text Chat mode, Voice Chat provides a common General channel and multiple user-created channels. Once connected, a user can immediately start speaking and be heard by all who are joined to the General channel. When creating a new channel, you can set passwords (user password and operator password) for your channel, as well as the channel type (public or conference). A conference channel is suitable for virtual meetings, discussions, briefings and other tasks of corporate and mobile users. Likewise in Text Chat mode, you can start a private voice conversation with another user. Send Message Mode Sometimes you only need to notify a remote user with few-words sentence, so establishing a chat sessions would be excessive. Radmin's Send Message connection mode was developed for these times. It allows you to send a single text message to a remote computer, which pops up on the remote display immediately. You can use this connection type to send a multicolor, formatted (Rich Text) message to a remote computer. It is it always available, fast and easy alternative to WinPopup and NET SEND. The number of participants is limited by default to 5 simultaneous connections (5 Users in Text Chat + 5 Users in Voice Chat). This number can be increased with the purchase of an additional client access license (CAL).

Easy to use

Radmin is very user-friendly. Most of our users agree that the major advantage of Radmin is its simplicity. All report that the interface is intuitive and the program is very easy to use. Unlike bloatware, Radmin has no useless 'value added' features that makes it difficult to work with, complex to learn, or that crushes its performance.

Secure "Drag and Drop" file Transfer with "Delta Copy" feature

With Radmin you can securely drag and drop any files via its Explorer-like interface to or from a remote computer in encrypted mode. Radmin has a feature it uses when copying files that allows updating of only that part of a file which is different on both machines. This feature is called "Delta Copy" since only the difference between files ('delta') is copied. It lets you continue copying after a network fault from the place where the fault occurred rather than from the beginning. This feature is used automatically when any file is being copied to or from the remote machine.

Multiple Connections Support

Radmin supports simultaneous multiple connections to the same remote screen. This means that you can invite your friends or colleagues to view your screen remotely (very handy for conferencing) or you can view or control several remote screens from your own computer's screen (very handy for remote helpdesk or teaching).
